A happy happy holiday
This is my favorite holiday. I know it isn't really recognized as a holiday by the general public, but it is my most favoritest day of the whole year. Today is the day that we all fall back. One extra hour of sleep. Hooray! Forget St. Patrick's day and the whole "pinch me if I'm not wearing green" thing. Who cares about whether or not we are getting six more weeks of winter Mr. Groundhog. I can live with six more weeks of winter, what I am most interested in is one day where I get one more hour of sleep. Have I mentioned that I love to sleep? Earlier in my life, I loved this day and used the extra hour on the night side of the day. As in, staying up an hour later just because it was really an hour earlier. Now, I just go to bed and sleep IN an hour later. So what the heck am I doing wasting this time blogging? I don't know. Why am I awake at almost eleven o'clock pm? I'm not really sure. So then, I'm off to bed. Oh precious, precious extra hour of sleep. I LOVE YOU. I want to MARRY you. But my sweet little hour of sleep, let's please not talk about what happens in the spring. It's just about the WORST day of the whole year. A day that should be mourned. I don't want to think about it. Good night.

Heh. Halloween's my favorite holiday! It's the only time it's acceptable to beg, and at the same time I get to show off how cute my kids are! I love it so!
Wow - you've got 6 kids??? I've got 3 and I'm dyin' over here. I couldn't imagine 6!! But I'll bet it's fun!!!!
norman!
Hey, I just noticed...your blogs are green now! Neat!
Hi Norman, it's nice to have you commenting. I read your Walmart story, that is WAY too funny.
I lay in bed this morning cursing Benjamin Franklin. Joel woke up at 6am, his usual time. But crank the clock back an hour and it was really 5am. I baked a loaf of apple bread with the extra hour, however.
I totally agree with you. I said the exact same thing this morning when I awoke... my favorite holiday of all!
I feel so sorry for those people who live in the wretched states of Hawaii, Indiana, Arizona... I would never live there because of this very thing. No opportunity to catch up on their sleep. sleep.. precious precious sleep....
You are hilareous, my dear!
