So lets talk purse shall we? Here is my purse philosophy: Buy them cheap, replace them often. Then I pass all the used ones on to my girls. They love it. Right now I am using a purse that my friend Sara sent me. She is the most givingest giver that you have ever met. But sorry, you can't be her friend because I want her to only send things to me. I'm kind of selfish like that.
So here is the purse in all it's glory.

Just the right size for me. I can fit all kinds of things in there, but it's not too big. I do have problems finding the lipgloss when I am driving and digging around in the bottom of the purse at the same time. Kind of hazardous but not quite as much as talking on the cell phone. At least that is what I tell myself.
Here are the guilty lipglosses that hide from me:

Sometimes I just want the Carmex so I feel around for the rounded lid. It hides behind my wallet. I usually end up dumping the whole mess on the passenger seat. The hand sanitizer is a must have. Especially after shopping at Walmart. I always feel so grubby coming out of there. Bleh. You can see that I am fully prepared for oral hygiene with a travel size toothpaste. Actually, that was just one of the five hundred tubes we scored at all of our dentist visits this spring. Bonus. Sudafed? You never know when congestion is going to hit you. Same with the oral gel. Toothaches can sneak right up on you. I can see that I have a little explaining to do on the Body Glide. If you read closely, it says that it prevents blisters and chafing. I promise you that I use that for when I go running. You can smear it on your feet so they don't bother you. If your shirt is rubbing you wrong, just put some of that stuff on there and you are good to go. Why is it in my purse? Because sometimes in the parking lot of the grocery store I feel like breaking into a full sprint.
Now for the staples of a woman's purse:

Gotta have the wallet and the pens and the keys. You can see how up to date technologically I am with my standard issue cell phone from two years ago. It doesn't take pictures or play songs or do the dishes or anything useful. It does make calls though. Also, check out my stylish shades. Dollar Store. Seriously.
Now this last one is the reason my purse hangs from a very high hook by the front door:

The gum. My children can smell it from three miles away. Jack recently cleaned me out in literally two hours. I had bought a brand new pack and he discovered it and ate it all. See the little candy bones? Um, yeah. I stuck those in my purse to prevent my children from eating them after they fell on the floor at the store. The ten second rule doesn't apply in public places. Ew. And also a gum wrapper. Just because.
Man that was fun. I'm on a purse high.
I am tagging Sara because she gave me this rad purse.
Gretchen because I'm sure she is carrying something fabulous.
And Karen because I wonder how many cloth diapers she can fit in her handbag.

I totally have that same wallet, just with a lime green liner. Got it at Wally World!(Walmart for those not in the know)
I love that purse. I'm always scared to carry brightly colored purses. Do you change your purse to match your clothes or not? Because I don't want to I typically carry brown or black and SOMETIMES change that to make sure it matches...but at least it isn't as noticable.
Not that I'm a "fashion" person, I was just cursious because I thought someone would think I was dumb wearing a brightly colored purse that...well...didn't match me.
Sara- I love the purse.
Briana- I think mine is from Target, I don't remember. Lime green would be WAY fun.
Kili- I don't change my purse. I just carry it no matter what I am wearing. I figure if I clash, I clash, Oh well.
I sort of missed the female shoe thing, but I got the purse fetish full-on.
THAT PURSE ROCKS.
I love it!
And also, I will be looking for that wallet at the Targets.
I have no idea why people buy expensive sunglasses, really. Mine are more of a glorified headband than anything else.
Next time try some of the Stride gum. The name is horrible, I know, but since you're carrying something called Body Glide in your purse, I think you'll be fine. The Body Glide and the Stride can be friends. Because they rhyme.
Your purse is so cute- did Sara make it (like sew?)
I am hitting Target (Tar-jae') lateer, maybe I will look at the groovy new bags!

that purse is adorable, did sara make it???
This is a fun meme. I need to go buy a cute purse and put nice womanly things in it because my current "purse" isn't something I'd like to share with the whole world. Hopefully I'll get that done before someone tags me.
Wow, some interesting things in that purse there!
I'm a huge purse fan, and your philosophy is awesome - buy cheap, buy often! Love it!
I'm realizing I have way too much stuff in my purse that I simply never use. I think it's time for a declutter!
Stop by today, sorry, you're it, again!
Oh my that was fun! I want to be a purse person now. Does changing purses often cut down on how much junk is in there? I don't change often because I accumulate too many "essentials" and it takes so long for the transfer. But I really want a cute bag too.
Oli ate a whole pack of my gum in my purse one day - Melly was not happy - with ME! (it wasn't my fault!) Then everytime he saw me, he would say, "gum... gum.." and try to pull my purse away from me. After the last tug-o-war, Melly put her foot down and told me "No more treats for my kids from you!" What is an auntie to do? Shhhh... Sneak it to them.... Lots of other fun things in Aunt Shell's purse!
Heth, I just saw this yesterday! We had visitors since Thursday, so hopefully I'll be able to get my purse pics up sometime soon. Thanks for the tag.
Love your bag. Knew I would.
