I just got my haircut yesterday. I went in with no idea of what I wanted to do, which is typical for me. I was inspired by one of the posters hanging on the wall in the salon. When she asked what I wanted, I pointed to the poster. It's a little crazy. It's a little different. I like it a lot. My hairdresser is my hero.
Life is too short to keep the same hairdo for 30 years. I want to guarantee that when my kids look back at photos of me, they will cringe. "What were you thinking mom?"
I was being brave. I was trying new things. I was keeping it fresh.

Firstly thanks for your blog. I have just spent the last 4 or so days catching up and so have your life in Fast Fwd...several cars, at least 2 babies born and grown up before my eyes, many bdays and Christmases and so on AND a marathon AND all that candy. I am exhausted ...and I have to say not a lot of my housework done.
Pretty much neglected that (and if I was totally honest my husband and kids a little too) while I read and read and read your blog.
Was thinking while I read it that you would love Journey Mama/Fly Fishes Fly as well as the creative lovely inspirational Amanda Soule (SouleMama) and also the gorgeous and talented Catherine Newman who's "Bringing Up Ben and Birdy" blog
I have LOVED reading since my 2 were tiny babies. Sadly she has now finished that and writes as Dalai Mama through Wondertime but has recently shifted (understandably) from writing about her children and more towards food. WELL worth backtracking through all her "old stuff" she also has her own blog separate to Wondertime.
Anyways so I posted something along these lines (or thought I did but something went haywire) THEN realised Journey Mama was in your links already and thought hmmm maybe thats how I found you...hence the 2nd (but actually the 1st) comment from me ...
