A Pay At The Pump Milestone

Maybe I need to take Nate up on his crazy idea of buying a fleet of mopeds. I can picture it now, the Laundry Pile Family flying down the highway on the way to Sunday morning church as a pack, nine mopeds strong.

With helmets of course.

I feel your pain. I think our record was around $85 dollars for a tank of gas, but that's because we have an itty bitty Suburban.

I dream of a fleet of Mini Coopers, personally. One in every color.

I have a 35 gallon tank and I have a bad habit of running it down to empty so I too can feel your pain because I have hit $125 before to fill my tank. That is just insane!

OH the pain. I feel your pain. Got horses?

maybe the Amish have something. We could go back to horse and buggy...of course, I'm sure it isn't cheap feeding horses either...

count your lucky stars - in England it would be almost twice that amount, I'm not even joking!

Oh my land. I promise I will stop pressuring you to come out here and visit. It would literally cost you a small fortune just to pay for all the gas!

Doesn't Sarah's comment make you want to cry?? lol

Maybe we should learn some lessons from our "veggie oil burning RV travelin' friends"! How many Chinese restuarants you have in your town? I seriously think they are onto something brilliant!!!!!!

Gas is only 3.16 a gallon over there? Lucky!

Yeah, we're paying about 3.60 now in So Cal. And it keeps going up.

Yikes! I always wait until the light for my gas tank has been on for a couple of days...and then I know it's time to fill er' up when the "Miles until empty" doesn't even register...it should even be -miles. Because the bill just about makes me pass out each time! Thank God for gas fumes...that keep me happy in the moment.

UGH. It makes me wanna cry. Heth, you must be like me. Carry your camera everywhere?

Surely you won't need nine? Some of those kids in your house must be little enough that they could double up?

Wow! We broke $50 and I thought that was bad...

How many of you'd have a baby on your back? Maybe you could get the rest of your bunch to take up running?

It could be worse (although that is plenty painful). If it makes you feel any better gas is 3.79 a gallon in my little part of the world. I can't even do the math for that.

Unbelievable. The gas prices are still climbing, everyone is feeling the pain, yikes!
