I heard frost for morning, do you think I should cover my peonies and hostas that have already peeked their little tender shoots up?
Diana You know, I'm kind of a purist when it comes to that kind of stuff. I usually just let nature take it's course. If I have a plant that is a favorite of mine or something new I just put in, I might cover it, but usually I just let them fend for themselves. Gosh, that sounds so harsh.
It wouldn't hurt to throw an old sheet over them, just to be safe. Peonies are so pretty, you'd hate to lose them.
It makes me so HAPPY to see green!!!! Even if it is 40 degrees out :)

Rhen Hmmm, the rock tumbler might just stay in the box for another couple years. I don't know if I'm ready for that kind of commitment. They seem kind of high maintenance.
