Truely The Laundry Lady

When I said I was avoiding the unpacking process, I wasn't kidding. I did most of the suitcases but quit part way through, choosing the pool instead.

We have gone the past two days.

In an attempt to simplify the take-the-troop-to-the-public-pool ordeal, I packed all of our stuff in a big laundry basket. I rolled up all the towels, threw in all the rest of the junk (snacks, sunscreen, phone, keys, etc) and we took off. While standing around, talking to a friend while the kids played, she told me what her 9 year old son had said when he saw us walking across the parking lot. "That Heather, she's pretty smart. She just brings her laundry to the pool!"

The kid is a genius. Next time I'm bringing along a load of whites and a jug of detergent.

That's so cute! I'm so glad the pool is up and running for you now.

The pool wins over laundry and unpacking always. ALWAYS.

Good choice, my friend. Good choice.

Way to enjoy the summer- and if you keep taking them to the pool they won't need clothes anyway!

Laundry waits, the pool is finite (at least sasonal!!) after reading T's bucket list post I have realigned my priorities, and clean clothes is WAY WAY under pool and fun!! I would however recommend the big pool for your experiment, I have been in the baby pool too many times when "surprises" happen---even had one bump me on the leg once GROSS!!! Possibly you could use the water under the slide for some agitation action? Good times! GLAD YOU ARE HOME!!!

Oh, the mental picture of a pool full of soap and your family's jammies. Priceless.

There is a packed suitcase sitting about 10 feet from me at this very moment. We returned on Monday.

hehe. that chlorine would do the trick!

LOL, that is great! Yes, let the kids swim in their clothes, then hang them to dry. The chlorine will probably get any stains out too.

You are pretty clever you know.
