Trivial Tuesday

Just a list of nothing.

  1. Today was a bad hair-day. I'm talking "helmet" hair, bleh. I'm hanging on to hope that tomorrow will be better. These things are so unpredictable.
  2. I'm pretty sure that if there is pop (or soda for you soda people) in heaven, it's A&W Rootbeer. I had myself a ice cold glass of the nectar of the gods today and it is so doggone smooth. It's like buttah.
  3. Sometimes, when Nate and I are sitting side by side at our respective computers, I get really mad and yell at him. "You're hogging all the bandwidth again!" Stupid game. I wish he would just cancel. *grumble*
  4. If your husband asks you to hold the ladder while he climbs up to the very tip top to unclog a clogged up rain gutter, you might want an umbrella. I know this because I was standing underneath my husband when the putrid water started spraying and dumping down on me. Good times.
  5. A golf ball sized ball can clog a downspout quite nicely.
  6. Tyler found another tick. I'm so proud of myself, I pulled it out all by myself. Then I died.

EEEEEEEEWWWWWWWWWW!!!!!!!!
A TICK! And you pulled it out by yourself?!

Girl, I am so impressed.

You know, it might sound shallow, but nothing can ruin your day like bad hair. I do know this to be true, because since I cut and colored my hair, I've been having a bad hair month to six weeks.

Blech.

You crack me up. I miss you a lot. So fun hanging out the other day. I hear ya on the hair. Today was a no shower/bandana day. Blech.

Here's hoping you have a great hair day tomorrow, no suprise ticks or unexpected downpours, and LOTS of bandwith (no doubt while the hubster is at work, lol.)

I'm thinking that #4 directly relates to #1? Lesson learned, I suppose!

So sad to hear about #6. We'll miss you.

I had a bad "whole body" day yesterday if it makes you feel any better! I hate ticks too and make my husband get them if at all possible! He takes them and crunches them between his fingernail! AAAAAHHH!

tanya- you get the prize for the best tick response. I filled the room with a large belly laugh when I "heard" your thud! What good times over tick season....
(I meant that the laugh was large...)

I always thought if there was pop in heaven (I am unapologetic about not calling it soda), it would be fountain Coke with the perfect ice/syrup/carbonation ratio. It would never go flat or warm up.

So sorry you got dumped on with the icky water Heth!! That is awful. Eric has found a new love for the game, too. I will never go back to it. I'll just stick with WoW. Thank goodness I haven't gotten addicted to it like I did "the game."

Heather, you are one brave mama. I could never do that! I just can't stand bugs -- especially ones that want to crawl on you and make their home there. Ack!!

I know that rancid leaf water smelled so good on you. Gross!

Note she said, "...I was standing underneath my husband..."

I got the brunt of the stagnant gutter water of putrescence.

*woe is me*

Am I really that hard up for sympathy? Sorry babe.
