Snow

We had our first big snow storm this weekend.
For the record, Nate was one step ahead of nature.

Nate made snow? Why?

The theme of the youth Christmas party this year is "Let it Snow". In Iowa we are not guaranteed to have snow in December. In fact the last few years we haven't had any until after Christmas. Nate took matters into his own hands and he and a couple of other guys made their own snow making machine. He pulled a few all nighters and made a bunch of snow on the youth building parking lot. Of course, nature responded with a full blown snow/ice storm just a day later and now there is plenty of snow for the party on Wednesday night.

Oh no. I just told my husband what your husband did. His eyes are dancing. He's lit from within.

He has ideas.

Leave it to Nate...

(I'm pretty impressed!)

How do you make a snow machine???

Wow! Now, next summer when he creates the beach party again, can he make a machine that will make an ocean?

Oh I think that's a BAD idea, Chris. A very bad idea.
And for the record... I am NOT showing this to my husband. I don't want him getting "ideas" like Gretchen's hubby. lol He's doing snow removal for a living right now. Nuff said.

Can Nate bring his machine over and play at our house?

Chris- you are too funny but maybe you shouldn't give Nate and those other guys to many ideas!

Well of course Nature bit back. I mean don't you remember the commericals... "It's not nice to mess with mother nature"
LOL! Great pictures.

I Like Chris' idea! I must admit I was a bit befuddled after leaving the church and noticing snow at the youth building, and no where else. So befuddled I had to call Tina and see what was up! You are married to SUCH a smart guy! I am impressed by his snow! LOL
