Lazy, yes.
I never said I wasn't.
- 6 Christmases in 4 days.
- Ann, Eric, and their three kiddos come back from distant lands. Hooray!
- Ann falls to the power of the stomach flu. (So sorry Ann. It's definitely the gift that keeps on giving.)
- The tradition of Grandma Margaret's famous Christmas cookies continues.
- Wii!
- Heth freaks out and has a Christmas meltdown, succumbing to the stress of her role as Super Christmas Coordinator. (Did I mention 6 Christmases in 4 days?)
- Heth recovers from her meltdown with the tried and true remedy of staying in her pajamas until evening and eating lots of sugar.
- A nativity scene made solely from pancakes.
- A precious Christmas morning at my parents'. Teary eyes and family all around.
- Dave (my parents' foreign exchange student) joins in the Christmas craziness.
- We survive the annual wrapping paper war and my Grandparents' house.
- Nate and Heth assume the roles of Wii refrees while the children play Wii sports.
- Toby learns to sit unassisted.
- Toby eats cereal for the first time. It's one step from sugar cookies.
- So much snow.
- Soooo much laundry.

oh heather! you are soooo funny! You always make me laugh out loud! EVEN with "just a list"! I actually hate long blog posts ( almost never finish those)! Lists keep it short and sweet! Thanks for the laughs!
This is great! you had a much busier Christmas than ours. of course, we were nursing colds at various stages, so it was considered a good Christmas to be able to stay home and recover. Yay for Toby! Damara has quit eating her cereal. She loved it the first time, and now won't eat it.
Our kids have been staying in PJs almost every day unless we go somewhere. I like to pretend it makes less laundry.

Hmmm. Pjs all day. Yes, well, at least you had the excuse of a Christmas meltdown. I'd have to say that my children and I frequently have all pjs days. It cuts back on laundry, right?

Pancake nativity scene cracks me up. What is the wrapping paper war? 6 Christmases would kill me. I would pretend to have the flu just to get out of the madness. I would actually catch the flu to get out of the madness.
I had a day in PJs too. And a migraine to go with it...I think PJs and hogging the couch and cups of coffee and snuggling and watching "Beauty and the Beast" with my youngest may be my favorite Christmas memory, minus the pain. I love coming to visit your site!
