I saw Linda created this Meme and I thought it might buy me a few more days. Plus I couldn't resist the graphic, it was making me hungry.

1. When you go to Wowmart, what one thing do you get every single time, besides a funky-wheeled squeaking cart full of frustration?
Myself a treat. Usually Reeses Peanut Butter Cups or a Snickers. Hey, I was good in the store...I bribe myself.
2. What is something that people are currently "into" that you just don't get or appreciate?
Twitter. I feel like it's basically just Facebook status updates. I'll stick with Facebook.
3. What is something that really hoists your sail that other people might feel "ho-hum" about?
Do I have to say it? Podcasts. Particularly Matt Chandler, Mark Driscoll, and Francis Chan. The three tenors of sermons.
4. Favorite song to sing in the shower or car?
It definitely not my favorite but it gets in my head and I CAN'T. GET. IT. OUT! Poker Face by dang old Lady Gaga. Uugh. Hate it.
5. A really great salad must have this ingredient:
Fruit of some kind. Yummy.
6. Advice in a nutshell to new bloggers (one or two sentences):
KISS. Keep it simple stupid.
7. What was the alternate name that your parents almost named you? Do you wish they had chosen it instead of the one they gave you?
If I was a boy, I was going to be Matthew. I'm glad I'm a girl.
8. What in your life are you waiting for?
A bigger house.
9. You get a package in the mail. What is it, and who is it from?
It's chocolate from Ann.
10. Today--what song represents you?
In honor of my sister Mariah who just landed the role of Adalaide in the school play "Guys and Dolls" I choose Adalaide's Lament. Specifically because of the line "A person can develop a cold". Which I am. Dang it. Shouldn't there be a six week immunity for mother's who just gave birth? I really don't want a cold right now.
11. What is one thing that blogging has taught you about yourself?
That I need to enjoy the little things in life, the daily stuff with my kids.
12. How are you going to (or how did you) choose the clothes you're wearing today? What do they say about you in general or specifically how you're feeling today?
They are pretty much the only ones that fit right now. Hooray for stretchy pants. What do they say about me? That I just had a baby. That I'm "thick". That I don't dare go anywhere in public with out my baby girl or people might ask when I'm due.
Thanks Linda for an easy post! You are a good meme maker.

What a fun meme!
Hey, head over to The Big Tradeoff and read Karen's post. She needs an internet hug from us moms with large families:) And BTW - I love the name Everly. Beautiful.
Amen to #8! 900 sq. ft. and 2 toddlers is CRAMPED:) Fun post.
Everly is a gorgeous little girl!
Great answers! You're a great meme taker!
I never thought it would feel so good to hear someone say, "You are a good meme maker," but I did get a little happy over that. #1: Don't you love being a grown up? You can do things like this without anyone "no-no-ing" you. #2: I think I have said the exact same words. 4: Too funny #11: Great answer. Thanks for playing.
Your last response totally cracked me up! And you're so insightful about enjoying the little things in life. So true. So forgotten.
"my my my po-ker face..." Now you've done it! Actually it's just Lady Blah Blah that I can't stand; the song itself doesn't really bother me so much. ; )
#12 - Baby #2 was a week overdue, but I had started my maternity leave on his due date. I went into school the week after he was born to check on the substitute. He was asleep in his stroller, so I left him in the hallway. When I went in alone, the sub asked when my due date was. She looked totally embarrassed. I thought it was funny, because I was large, but not as large as I had been a few days before.
Loved your answer to #11. So true for all of us.
Love the name you gave your precious new baby girl.
Hi! I came over from Linda's and I love your answers. I feel the same about Twitter. I haven't been back in months on mine. I too stick to facebook.
Man, if you can blog with a newborn, I need to get back in business. I keep thinking about it.
Great answers. And I don't know if I buy #12...you looked fabulous a few HOURS after her birth! You're amazing.
Twitter makes me scratch my head, too.Facebook is already a perfectly nice place to dump minutia. I guess when my minutia needs minutia, I can do Twitter:
"Sandwich"
Which is pretty KISS, if you think about it. :)
