History

My grandma looks on while my mom and her brother watch their recently purchased first tv set. I wonder what was on? Probably not Nick Jr.

So fun. I love finding old photos and thinking about what life may have been like for our parents and grandparents. Very cool, Heth.

I'm a little nervous about you having access to all these old photos! I'm thinking that's 1955. And I wouldn't even be able to touch one of those metal tumblers now- it would set off an electrical storm with my fillings!

LOL, oh my. I remember when one of our neighbors had a color t.v. and we were so fascinated. What a great photo.

i wonder what your grandmother is holding in her hands...

I remember as a child when we would gather together as a family and watch our favorite TV shows...that little black and white number with the rabbit ears perched on top of a rolling cart.
