You know summer time boredom has reached a new high when your daughters resort to watching the jewelry channel for hours at a time. As I reached to shut it off they protested, "But mom Spessartite garnets are not being mined anymore. And they are selling them for $29.99 and up!"

Oh, that is funny! We don't have cable, or whatever it's called, but there are obviously people wanting to get out of chores if they'll resort to watching (for the 6 billionth time) scooby doo with Megan (6 yrs.).
